We'll be in the Birchtown Church near Shelburne for a celebration of summer concert... The concert starts at 7 and there will be two sets with an intermission, so we should finish up by around 9. We haven't played a concert in this neck of the woods for a long time and we're really looking forward to seeing some friends we've been missing! Not to mention we have so many new songs we're looking forward to playing! For more information about the concert or to reserve tickets, please call 902-875-2316 or e-mail superbug@ns.sympatico.ca

We are completely honoured to have been asked to take part in a very special celebration of Canada that will be happening at the Halifax commons on the first of July... Holly Carr, internationally acclaimed artist, will be coordinating the creation of a painted silk mural approximately 25 feet by 8 feet. Twenty children have been chosen to paint while we and several other musicians sing songs that highlight Nova Scotia's culture, scenery and heritage. At the conclusion of the event all the children who took part, and anyone from the audience who would like to, will be invited to sign the banner with special wishes for our troops in Afghanistan. Then the banner will be flown to Kandahar and presented to the troops as a sign of Nova Scotia’s support and love and appreciation.
July 5th
We are headed to Deux Montagnes (near Montreal) to play an afternoon set at the Celtic Festival they are putting on for the first time this year. We are scheduled to play at around 2, but there will be incredible music all day, and the proceeds of the festival will go to cancer research, so we hope you will come out and support this wonderful cause.
July 5th
And then we are heading to St. Brigid's in Ottawa to play the oppening concert for their summer concert series, which starts at 8pm. We can't wait to play in this incredible venue again! We will try and update the website with more details abou this concert as we get them...
